The current opening at Eurest is for a full-time Cook position located at the TQL - Total Quality Logistics site in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is integral to ensuring quality food preparation and excellent service within the foodservice operations at the facility. The Cook will work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, providing consistency and reliability in scheduling. Although previous cooking experience is preferred, it is not essential, as the company values willingness to learn and offers training to new hires. The hourly pay range for this role is from $18.00 to $20.00, reflecting competitive compensation. The Cook position includes a variety of responsibilities associated with food preparation, kitchen maintenance, inventory management, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.

The Cook will also assist with production planning, record keeping, and inventory control. Job Duties
- prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- tastes all prepared food items
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- responsible for records from area worked during service periods
- cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
