  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals using correct portioning and at proper temperatures
  • tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving
  • stores or discards excess food following safe handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance needs and equipment issues immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • performs tasks safely and maintains a clean work environment
  • follows HACCP standards and company safety policies
  • wears appropriate protective equipment when handling knives, hot pans, and other kitchen tools
  • performs other duties as assigned
