- knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
- ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control

- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely

- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serves meals using correct portioning and at proper temperatures
- tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- cleans kitchen after preparation and serving
- stores or discards excess food following safe handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment
- assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- reports maintenance needs and equipment issues immediately
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
- performs tasks safely and maintains a clean work environment
- follows HACCP standards and company safety policies
- wears appropriate protective equipment when handling knives, hot pans, and other kitchen tools
- performs other duties as assigned
