Job Requirements

  • Prior cook and food service experience is required
  • ability to work full time or part time schedules including weekends
  • ability to follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • basic math and record keeping skills
  • good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work in accordance with company policies and federal, state, and corporate regulations

  • Prior experience as a cook or in food service

  • knowledge of proper food handling and storage techniques
  • ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and maintain food temperature and presentation
  • use established ticket collection procedures during service
  • clean kitchen and maintain hygiene standards
  • store or discard excess food as per safe food-handling procedures
  • keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • report maintenance issues and accidents immediately
  • attend in-service and safety meetings
  • maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • perform job safely and maintain a clean work environment
  • ensure proper presentation and portion control following HACCP standards
  • use personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols
  • abide by company policies and procedures
