The open position at Morrison Healthcare is for a full-time Cook at Christus Good Shepherd located at 811 South Washington Avenue, Marshall, TX. This role is vital in transforming raw ingredients into high-quality meals that meet strict standards of taste, presentation, and safety — all essential in a healthcare environment where nutrition directly impacts patient recovery and caregiver performance. The Cook will prepare food according to standardized recipes and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by following established policies, regulations, and HACCP standards. This position operates under a flexible schedule that includes working Monday through Sunday with varying hours, offering a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

In this role, the Cook is entrusted with responsibilities such as preparing and serving meals, ensuring portion control, maintaining proper food temperatures, and adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines. The Cook will also participate in essential tasks like cleaning kitchen equipment, managing food storage and inventory, assisting with order receiving, and contributing to production planning and record keeping.
