Job Description

The Cook role at Morrison Healthcare is integral to delivering high-quality food service in a healthcare environment. This full-time position operates on a schedule from Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with rotating weekend shifts from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. The pay range for this role is competitive, starting at $17.00 per hour and reaching up to $22.29 per hour, reflecting experience and skill.

In this role, the cook will prepare food following standardized recipes and adhere strictly to all federal, state, and corporate guidelines, ensuring quality, safety, and nutrition standards are met. The position demands a hands-on approach to meal preparation, portion control, temperature maintenance, and food presentation to provide an attractive and tasty dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors. Beyond cooking, responsibilities include kitchen cleanliness, proper food storage, equipment maintenance, and assisting with order and inventory processes. The cook plays a pivotal role in maintaining safety standards, including the use of protective gloves and proper equipment handling techniques, fostering a safe and clean kitchen environment. This role requires prior cooking experience as foundation knowledge to effectively manage kitchen duties and uphold Morrison Healthcare’s standards.

Job Duties
