These prestigious properties include renowned locations such as Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, Canada; Cabot Saint Lucia in the Caribbean; Cabot Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada; Cabot Citrus Farms in the United States; Cabot Highlands in Scotland; and Cabot Bordeaux in France. The company also manages several top-tier golf properties in the United States, including Cascata Golf Club and Serket Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada; Grand Bear Golf Club in Saucier, Mississippi; and Chariot Run Golf Club in Laconia, Indiana.
Cabot is distinguished by its commitment to cultivating a legacy of excellence in golf and hospitality management. By offering exclusive access to bespoke, destination-inspired experiences combined with luxury residential and boutique resort offerings, Cabot continuously aims to deliver exceptional service to guests and homeowners alike. The company places a strong emphasis on quality, personalized service, and creating memorable experiences in breathtaking environments.
The Cook role at Cabot-managed properties is crucial to maintaining the high culinary standards that guests expect. This position holds responsibility for all food products prepared at the golf course venues, ensuring timely and excellent food preparation in coordination with the Food and Beverage team. The Cook will work closely with colleagues including fellow cooks and food servers and will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. The role focuses on food preparation, presentation, proper food storage, kitchen cleanliness, and compliance with county health codes and sanitation standards. Beyond cooking, the position demands strong organizational skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple orders simultaneously, and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout all food handling processes.
Candidates will find that this role offers not only an opportunity to develop culinary skills in an esteemed, luxury golf resort environment but also the chance to contribute directly to the guest experience by ensuring quality, appealing, and safe food offerings. This position is indoor-based, involving physical activities such as sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity, as well as auditory and visual skills, are required to successfully follow written and oral instructions and standards. Cabot is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity, welcoming applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
