Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of experience in a culinary role within hotel kitchens, restaurants, or similar food service operations
- familiarity with sanitation and food safety regulations
- demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- capability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- professional demeanor and organizational skills
Job Duties
- prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
- work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply inventory
- ensure timely procurement of ingredients for food preparation
- store leftovers correctly to maintain food safety
- maintain accurate inventories
- communicate and cooperate with kitchen and restaurant team members
- uphold sanitation and safe food handling standards
