Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related cooking role
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong commitment to quality and food safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CPR certified
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to follow recipes and nutritional guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare delicious entrees, soups, vegetables, accompaniments, and garnishes
- Maintain high standards of quality, temperature control, and presentation
- Follow nutritional guidelines based on resident care plan
- Ensure the prep station and kitchen is kept clean and sanitized in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Participate in themed dinners, carving stations, and dessert displays to enhance dining experience
- Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate resident dietary needs
- Monitor and manage food inventory and supplies
