Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related cooking role
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Strong commitment to quality and food safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • CPR certified
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and nutritional guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare delicious entrees, soups, vegetables, accompaniments, and garnishes
  • Maintain high standards of quality, temperature control, and presentation
  • Follow nutritional guidelines based on resident care plan
  • Ensure the prep station and kitchen is kept clean and sanitized in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Participate in themed dinners, carving stations, and dessert displays to enhance dining experience
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate resident dietary needs
  • Monitor and manage food inventory and supplies
