Job Requirements

  • Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
  • 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or prep cook station
  • Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
  • Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
  • Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
  • Compliance with Oakmont Management Group’s COVID-19 policies including vaccination, screening, testing, and use of PPE per regulatory guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a line cook in a full scratch kitchen or fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong culinary skills with ability to execute dishes flawlessly and efficiently
  • Effective communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional food experiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals from scratch using fresh, local ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality food preparation and timely service
  • Interact positively and respectfully with residents and guests, building personal connections
  • Follow all health and safety regulations including food handling and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory and assist in ordering kitchen supplies as needed
  • Adapt to seasonal menus and new culinary techniques to enhance dining experiences
