Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving
  • stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning and record keeping
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance issues and accidents immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good relationships with coworkers and managers
  • performs job safely and maintains a clean work environment
  • ensures proper presentation and portion control
  • commits to personal and workplace safety
  • abides by company safety policies including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
