Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for patient age-appropriate food service
- Full-time availability on varied shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Graduation from a formal institutional cooking school preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation preferred
- Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate service in a hospital setting
Job Duties
- Prepare, season and cook food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors in a timely manner
- Ensure food preparation meets institutional and health safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
- Follow dietary guidelines and patient-specific meal requirements
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and hospital personnel for efficient food service operations
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and training requirements
