We are currently seeking a full-time Cook to join our Culinary Services Department. This role is integral to the daily operations of our kitchen and the overall dining experience for our residents. The Cook will be responsible for hands-on food preparation and production, ensuring that every dish served meets the community's high standards of quality, appearance, and nutritional compliance. The position offers a competitive wage of $20 to $23 per hour, with the added benefit of double-time pay for holidays. Additionally, team members enjoy complimentary meals as part of their compensation.
In this role, the Cook will uphold community standards for cleanliness and sanitation, demonstrating expertise in cooking techniques while efficiently preparing meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. The individual will also assist in meal serving and cleaning duties, periodically gathering feedback from residents to enhance the quality of food service. As a representative of Havenwood of Maple Grove, the Cook will contribute to cultivating a welcoming atmosphere that positively influences the community's image and supports business goals such as revenue growth and occupancy. Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- culinary degree preferred
- minimum of one year restaurant or senior living or equivalent cooking experience
