minimum of one year experience in a similar position
knowledge of safe food handling techniques
ability to read and understand recipes
ability to work in a team environment
ability to work flexible shifts
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
effective verbal and/or written communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
follows food safety and hygiene regulations consistently
monitors and manages kitchen inventory and supplies
communicates effectively with team members to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly
supports special dietary requirements and meal preparation for large groups
