Job Requirements
- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook line station
- Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
- Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- Must comply with COVID-19 related safety measures including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) according to regulatory guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for providing outstanding hospitality and food service
- Ability to build personal connections with residents and team members
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Operate state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and tools
- Ensure timely and flawless execution of dishes on a fast-paced line
- Interact warmly and professionally with residents and guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with kitchen and dining staff to deliver exceptional food experiences
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
