Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid Food Handler's Card
- Ability to work full-time Wednesday through Saturday 11am-7pm
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- No equivalent experience substitution for education
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid Food Handler's Card
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen or assisted living facility preferred
- Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepares meals for 150-200 people twice daily
- Use of commercial kitchen equipment and tools
- Light dishwashing (less than 15% of the shift)
- Plate trays up to 40 textured meals and or specialized diets per service
- Cleaning responsibilities based on shift and need
- 70-80% scratch cooking
