The role of Food Service Worker at Huntsville Hospital is essential for delivering high-quality meal preparation and service to both patients and the hospital cafeteria. The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing all meals including breakfast, lunch, supper, as well as specialized items such as all meats, vegetables, modified diets, and special function foods. This position requires a thorough understanding of food preparation standards, sanitation, and safety protocols as mandated by federal, state, and regulatory agencies including JCAHO. The Food Service Worker must be proficient with cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and be able to follow written recipes accurately. This role demands excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff and requires the ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Job Duties
