In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food items for a diverse group including patients, children, hospital staff, and visitors by utilizing specialized kitchen equipment. Precision, hygiene, and adherence to dietary guidelines form the cornerstone of this position, ensuring all food products meet safety and quality standards. Effective communication skills are essential as you will relay any recipe or production-related issues to your supervisors to maintain seamless kitchen operations. In addition, there may be opportunities to contribute towards the development and implementation of USDA-approved menus, especially tailored for children aged up to 60 months. Job Requirements
- One year of related experience
- Certified completion of Food Handler Training Course by Jefferson County Department of Health within 21 days of employment
