Job Requirements
- Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Prior kitchen experience a big plus
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the older adult population
- Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all prospects, residents, visitors, team members and the overall community
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes and menu
- Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
- Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces, storage containers and cooking equipment
- Promote high levels of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards residents, visitors and team members
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive working environment
