Job Requirements

  • Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Prior kitchen experience a big plus
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
  • Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the older adult population
  • Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all prospects, residents, visitors, team members and the overall community

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes and menu
  • Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces, storage containers and cooking equipment
  • Promote high levels of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards residents, visitors and team members
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive working environment
