Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds to waist height

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed cooking instructions and recipes
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • Team player with good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and serve foods as determined by the supervisor
  • Produce, prepare and cook various foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering items
  • Set up stations with appropriate equipment and food prior to service
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous customer service consistently
  • Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Adhere to COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Move objects weighing up to 35 pounds to waist height
