Job Requirements
- be at least eighteen years of age
- possess a current food handlers card
- able to read write understand and communicate effectively in English
- criminal background clearance
- able to stand walk bend kneel and stoop for extended periods
- ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- comfortable working near extreme temperatures including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers
- willing to work primarily indoors and available for outdoor events
- must have demonstrated leadership training and supervisory skills

Job Duties
- prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
- provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion
- ensure health protocols are always followed including proper hygiene sanitary food preparation and proper food temperatures
- familiarize yourself with the residents and their preferences and needs
- participate in resident orientations
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
