Their commitment to quality care and employee satisfaction has established Arrow Senior Living as a trusted name in the senior living industry.

The Rushwood Senior Living, a part of the Arrow Senior Living family located in Wichita, Kansas, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join their culinary team on a PRN (as needed) basis. This role offers an hourly wage starting between $18.00 and $20.00, with flexible and varying shift schedules to accommodate diverse needs. As a Cook at The Rushwood Senior Living, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to residents, ensuring that all food preparation adheres to established standards and health protocols. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen while embracing Arrow Senior Living’s core values from day one. Employees enjoy a supportive work environment where internal promotion is encouraged, cultivating opportunities for professional growth and development.

The role demands physical activity and endurance as team members stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day, with frequent lifting or moving of items up to 50 pounds, exposure to extreme temperatures, and the necessity to work both indoors and occasionally outdoors. Applicants must possess a valid Food Handlers Card and meet all health and safety regulations. Arrow Senior Living not only prioritizes excellent resident care but also values employee well-being, offering comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, company retirement match, employee assistance programs, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Working at Arrow Senior Living's The Rushwood means joining a passionate, family-like community dedicated to making a positive difference daily.
