Job Requirements
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand up and move about the kitchen or other designated areas
- Ability to handle objects, products, chemicals, cleaning supplies and utensils
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel
- Ability to communicate with other people and follow instructions
- Frequent reading of chemical or machine labels or operating instructions
- Use of basic mathematical skills to mix chemical solutions
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Assist with menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace throughout the shift
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing support in meal preparation and service
