Job Requirements

  • Two years of relevant experience
  • high school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or equivalent
  • food safety certification required within 90 days of job entry
  • knowledge of food sanitation and safety principles
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • physical ability to perform food service tasks

  • knowledge of sanitation and safety principles in food handling and equipment
  • proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and produce food for patient and guest meals
  • follow standardized recipes and daily production charts
  • ensure food meets quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness standards
  • adhere to HACCP procedures
  • use standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
  • communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
