Job Requirements

  • Two years experience in food service
  • Commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets
  • County specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
  • Ability to work full time day shifts
  • Ability to comply with hospital policies and procedures
  • Good physical stamina to handle kitchen duties

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to meet patient nutritional needs
  • Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies
