Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds to waist height
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday during day schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of COVID-19 workplace safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as directed by the supervisor
  • Observe and follow verbal and written instructions on menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
  • Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and store deliveries properly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
