Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 35 pounds to waist height
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday during day schedule

- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of COVID-19 workplace safety protocols
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as directed by the supervisor
- Observe and follow verbal and written instructions on menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
- Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and store deliveries properly
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate strong communication skills
- Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
