Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food preparation or cooking
- strong customer service skills
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- physical ability to lift approximately 35 lbs
- ability to stand for long periods
- adherence to health and safety regulations
- compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols
- ability to work independently and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment preferred
- knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
- understanding of health and safety regulations in food service
Job Duties
- produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other assigned items
- observe and follow verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
- set up station prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
- receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
- maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
- provide excellent customer service and communication
- follow health and safety regulations regarding equipment use and personal hygiene
- move objects up to 35 lbs to waist height
- adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards
- work independently and clean and sanitize the kitchen
- perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- stand for extended periods of time
