Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a fully operating catering or high-volume kitchen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of culinary education and/or certificate or minimum 5 years high volume experience
  • Current serve safe certificate or willingness to acquire
  • Proficient knowledge of kitchen appliances and tools
  • Ability to read and execute recipes written in English
  • Ability to speak English fluently

Job Duties

  • Work with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the day
  • Prepare to close by cleaning and storing all items properly
  • Coordinate efforts with chef and sous chef
  • Contribute to ordering needs by communicating product shortages
  • Provide support to fellow kitchen team members
  • Maintain respectful and positive working relationships with kitchen and front-of-house staff
