Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum six months of applicable experience preferred
- ability to read, write and follow directions
- ability to perform basic math
- ability to stand for long periods and walk throughout the facility
- willingness and ability to obtain necessary food safety certifications such as Serv Safe
- basic life support certification depending on location
- valid driver's license depending on location
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- capability to perform basic math
- minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred
- willingness to obtain Serv Safe certification if required
- completion of departmental continuing education and safety training
- basic life support (BLS) certification may be required depending on location
- ability to drive and hold a valid driver's license may be necessary depending on location
Job Duties
- prepare and assemble baked goods
- cook, season and portion food according to menu and dietary requirements
- adhere to food quality standards including appearance, taste, and temperature
- perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain sanitation
- maintain labeling and proper storage of food and equipment
- operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, and fryers
- follow HACCP guidelines and document food safety steps
- work independently as needed while demonstrating teamwork and communication skills
