Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum six months of applicable experience preferred
  • ability to read, write and follow directions
  • ability to perform basic math
  • ability to stand for long periods and walk throughout the facility
  • willingness and ability to obtain necessary food safety certifications such as Serv Safe
  • basic life support certification depending on location
  • valid driver's license depending on location

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
  • capability to perform basic math
  • minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred
  • willingness to obtain Serv Safe certification if required
  • completion of departmental continuing education and safety training
  • basic life support (BLS) certification may be required depending on location
  • ability to drive and hold a valid driver's license may be necessary depending on location

Job Duties

  • prepare and assemble baked goods
  • cook, season and portion food according to menu and dietary requirements
  • adhere to food quality standards including appearance, taste, and temperature
  • perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain sanitation
  • maintain labeling and proper storage of food and equipment
  • operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, and fryers
  • follow HACCP guidelines and document food safety steps
  • work independently as needed while demonstrating teamwork and communication skills
