Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of cooking experience preferred
Flexibility to work afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations
Strong work ethic and reliability

Job Qualifications

Cooking experience in a high volume restaurant or bistro environment
Knowledge of sanitation, cooking methods such as sautéing and grilling, and knife skills
Culinary Arts Degree preferred
Local board of Health ServSafe Certification preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective communication skills

Job Duties

Physically delivering a food product according to the restaurant's standards
Conducting oneself and work in a clean and safe manner, maintaining a professional atmosphere at all times
Meeting any special requests presented by guests
Preparing the dishes with creative flair
Being knowledgeable of ingredients used in foods to comply with a customer's specific dietary requirements
