Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience preferred
- Flexibility to work afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Cooking experience in a high volume restaurant or bistro environment
- Knowledge of sanitation, cooking methods such as sautéing and grilling, and knife skills
- Culinary Arts Degree preferred
- Local board of Health ServSafe Certification preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Physically delivering a food product according to the restaurant's standards
- Conducting oneself and work in a clean and safe manner, maintaining a professional atmosphere at all times
- Meeting any special requests presented by guests
- Preparing the dishes with creative flair
- Being knowledgeable of ingredients used in foods to comply with a customer's specific dietary requirements
