Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 1 year of food service or cooking experience in a licensed childcare center, school, or healthcare setting
- knowledge of CACFP guidelines
- ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- CPR or First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks aligned with USDA and CACFP nutritional guidelines
- oversee kitchen operations including sanitation, menu planning, and food safety compliance
- maintain inventory, order supplies, and track costs with fiscal responsibility
- supervise and guide kitchen assistants to ensure smooth operations
- coordinate with teachers daily to confirm meal counts and special dietary needs
- provide flexible support by assisting with light administrative or classroom tasks during non-meal times
- maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment in line with Georgia DECAL licensing requirements
