Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food service experience
- Ability to take direction of supervisor
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Preferred MN Food Manager Certification or ServSafe certification
- Must be ServSafe certified within 1 year of employment
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Job Duties
- Prepares, assembles, and serves assigned menu items to students, staff, and guests
- Operates kitchen equipment such as Robo Coupe, Sectionizer, warmers, cooler, dishwasher, and three-compartment sink
- Utilizes kitchenware including knives, spatulas, cutting boards, whisks, tongs, spoons, spoodles, and dishers
- Completes daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks including washing dishes, operating dishwasher, using the three-compartment sink, sanitizing work stations, breaking down boxes, and cleaning serving lines
- Maintains daily production records for assigned prepared menu items
- Builds and maintains positive customer relationships with students, staff, team members and guests
- Sets up and merchandises serving lines with correct utensils, trays, napkins, silverware and menu items following proper portioning techniques
- Serves assigned items to customers and operates point of sale stations as assigned
- Replenishes food items including fruit, vegetables, cold entree or hot items during and between meal services
