- Ability to navigate web-based applications at a basic level

- One year of food preparation experience in an institutional setting, preferably healthcare
- Judgment and planning skills for decision making
- Interpersonal communication skills for supervisory tasks
- Basic computer skills including navigation of web-based applications
Job Duties
- Prepare all breakfast and lunch entrees according to the tally for patients, cafeteria, traveling meals, and special functions
- Set up food for patient tray line per standards
- Test food temperature before tray line service
- Follow standardized recipes accurately
- Supervise kitchen staff during morning and weekend shifts
- Assign duties to cold food, functions, and dishroom staff as needed
- Assume duties of production manager when necessary
