One of its key properties, The Canyons Castle Pines, is one of the most anticipated new communities in the Greater Denver area, officially launched in Fall 2019. Located just south of Denver, Colorado, The Canyons boasts a master-planned community designed by the respected Shea Homes Colorado team, offering residents a serene environment seemingly worlds away from the bustle of the city while maintaining convenient access via Interstate 25. BlueStar is committed to managing the community's amenities, particularly The Exchange, which serves as a central hub for residents and visitors alike.

Within this thriving community, the Cook 4 position plays a crucial role as an integral member of the Food & Beverage Team. This full-time hourly role offers a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour and includes eligibility for comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and life insurance after 60 days of full-time employment. Additionally, full-time team members accrue paid time off and are entitled to seven paid holidays annually, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Team members 21 years and older may also participate in BlueStar's 401(k) plan following 30 days of service. Collaborating with management on weekly and daily specials is a key aspect, ensuring the menu remains fresh and appealing. Attention to cleanliness and sanitation is paramount, with responsibilities including daily oversight of the cleaning schedule and checklist. The role demands an ability to independently monitor food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques, ensuring consistency with recipes and safety standards. Physical demands include working in both indoor and occasional outdoor kitchen environments, exposure to heat, steam, and noise, and the occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds. Strong personal attributes such as being highly customer-oriented, responsive, able to work under pressure, and a team-builder with integrity and respect are essential.
