Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent
- minimum of three years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
- current Food Handlers card
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and instructions
- ability to effectively communicate with groups

Job Qualifications

- minimum of three years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen

- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

Job Duties
- Work and master all kitchen stations
- ensure superior standards of service meet the requirements of guests and employees
- proactively exceed guest satisfaction and resolve challenges from guests or employees
- follow cleaning schedule and checklist daily to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding vegetables and fruits
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods while adjusting thermostat controls
- observe and test foods for quality by tasting, smelling, and checking visual appearance
- carve meats, portion food, add gravies and sauces, and garnish servings to complete orders
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
