Job Requirements
- At least two years of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
- Basic math skills with ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capacity to reach up to seven feet, twist, bend, and squat
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, and operate kitchen equipment
- Exposure to variable temperatures
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of health codes and sanitation regulations
Job Duties
- Review menus and customer orders to determine food preparation quantities and comply with portion sizes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food temperatures and correct food storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, coolers, equipment, kitchen, and storage facilities
- Adhere to waste control guidelines and record waste on spoilage sheets
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and conduct end-of-day inventory
- Train kitchen team members and operate kitchen equipment
- Monitor quantities, labor, and overhead costs to meet budgetary requirements
