As a Cook 3 (Lead Line Cook) at Hyatt Centric the Woodlands, you will play an essential role in the evening culinary operations, directly contributing to the restaurant's reputation for elevated food quality and outstanding service. The Cook 3 is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with consistency, accuracy, and confidence, all while maintaining an organized and clean kitchen. Job Requirements
- Ability to work varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- food safety knowledge
- previous experience in a leadership role preferred
- capability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- must adhere to Hyatt's standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- A genuine desire to provide thoughtful, high-quality food in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- minimum of 2 years previous culinary experience including working independently on the line
- strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- ability to support and train junior team members
- culinary degree or hotel experience is a plus but not required
- dependable, punctual and able to maintain composure under pressure
