Trilogy Valor is an exciting and anticipated active adult resort community situated in the master-planned neighborhood of Valor, southwest of downtown Boise, Idaho, in the Treasure Valley area. This community is designed to offer an exceptional lifestyle for active adults, combining beautiful natural surroundings with modern amenities. At the heart of the Trilogy neighborhood will be a Resort Club featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center, culinary studio, coffeehouse, pickleball and bocce courts, and an expansive outdoor event space, among other appealing facilities. This setting provides the perfect backdrop for residents and visitors to enjoy a vibrant social life, recreational activities, and culinary experiences in a scenic, welcoming environment.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook 3 to join our Food and Beverage Team within Trilogy Valor. As a member of this dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality food that meets the expectations of our residents and guests. This full-time position offers an hourly pay range of $20 to $22, reflecting the importance of skill and experience in delivering culinary excellence. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, the Cook 3 will be responsible for mastering all kitchen stations and ensuring that food preparation and service adhere to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a community that values superior service and guest satisfaction, contributing to an environment where residents can enjoy top-tier dining experiences. You will be instrumental in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas by adhering to daily cleaning schedules and checklists. Your expertise in cooking techniques such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming various foods will be essential to fulfilling orders and maintaining quality. Additionally, your tasks will include preparing ingredients, measuring and mixing items, carving meats, garnishing plates, and critically assessing food appearance and flavor to deliver exceptional meals.
Trilogy Valor is committed to fostering a positive work culture that prizes honesty, integrity, respect for individuals, teamwork, and a competitive spirit. As a Cook 3, you are expected to embody these values and demonstrate high levels of customer orientation, responsiveness, and teamwork skills. The role demands the ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and proactively resolve any challenges that arise. Our team members enjoy a supportive environment that encourages responsibility, initiative, and continuous improvement, reflecting our commitment to delivering exemplary service continuously.
This role is ideal for culinary professionals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and are passionate about contributing to an active adult community's unique lifestyle. We offer a competitive pay range along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and life insurance eligibility after 60 days of full-time employment, paid time off accrual, paid holidays, and access to a 401(k) plan. If you are motivated, proactive, and ready to be a part of an exciting community like Trilogy Valor, we encourage you to apply and join a team dedicated to excellence in hospitality and culinary service.
