Job Description

This position involves preparing and cooking food for hospital patients, staff members, and hospital catered events and meetings under the general supervision of the Chef Manager. The role is crucial in ensuring that food is served in a timely and efficient manner in line with the hospital's mission, values, and service goals of delivering outstanding care, inspiring health, and fostering connections.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 17 years of age
  • at least one year of experience in a hospital, institutional, or restaurant cooking environment is preferred. Communication skills to follow instructions, basic math skills, ability to work over hot surfaces, handle hot food, and demonstrate interpersonal and hospitality skills.
