Job Description

Family Tree Café, a vibrant and welcoming restaurant, is looking for an energetic Cook who is well-versed in kitchen procedures and daily operations to join our team. Our Cooks play a crucial role in the kitchen production process, collaborating with the team to ensure the exceptional quality and variety of every meal served at Family Tree Café.

Job Requirements

Full service restaurant cooking experience preferred
ServSafe certification preferred
Demonstrated ability in kitchen management
Proficiency in assigning tasks and monitoring progress
Strong communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and kitchen processes optimization
Thorough understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to work efficiently and accurately
Familiarity with industry best practices
Capacity to work long hours on feet
Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly
