Job Description
The Cook 2 position is responsible for preparing food to be served across Banquet, Buffet, and Concessions style services at an intermediate level. Cook 2 professionals possess intermediate culinary skills and frequently interact with the public in areas such as Action Stations and buffet lines. This role offers an hourly rate of $18 to $20. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no deadline for submission.
Job Requirements
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends, with availability for morning, noon, and evening shifts on an on-call/event-based schedule
- must provide regular and consistent written availability to management
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card from ServeSafe and other required compliance trainings
- ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- strong communication skills to interact professionally and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
- physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as boxes and equipment
