Located in Miami, Florida, Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Cooks to join their culinary team at Miami Freedom Park. Miami Freedom Park is a state-of-the-art soccer stadium and entertainment destination set to open in 2026 as the future home of Inter Miami CF. The venue will become a hub for world-class soccer matches, concerts, and live entertainment throughout the year. Delaware North will oversee the stadium's concessions and premium food and beverage services, focusing on innovative culinary experiences that celebrate Miami's vibrant cultural scene, while also featuring classic stadium favorites. As a Cook at Miami Freedom Park, employees play a critical role in food preparation, ensuring that all orders meet quality, portion, and presentation standards. The role involves careful communication and coordination with the serving teams to deliver efficient, high-quality service. Cooks will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their workstations and equipment, following waste control procedures, and performing both opening and closing duties. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for food preparation. The position offers a competitive wage ranging from $19.50 to $30.00 per hour, reflecting experience and skill level. Shift work includes days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and special events, providing flexibility and variety.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
  • Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
