Job Requirements

  • Able to read, write and speak basic English
  • Able to understand and apply basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
  • Able to push, stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly during shift
  • Good attitude and work ethic
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Able to work in a high stress and fast paced environment
  • Able to function safely and efficiently under extreme kitchen heat conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Prefer at least 2 years cooking experience in a high volume kitchen environment
  • Possess full knowledge of cooking techniques and safe food handling

Job Duties

  • Complete job skills training and possess clear knowledge of the job
  • Be on time and follow attendance guidelines
  • Maintain friendly and professional demeanor
  • Follow food and cleanliness standards
  • Set up to pars for shift use and execute necessary preparation
  • Communicate any out-of-stock items or shortages
  • Date and rotate all food containers ensuring proper temperature
  • Inspect and evaluate kitchen equipment for cleanliness and report repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of line equipment
  • Return unused food items to proper storage
  • Produce products according to recipe specifications and ticket time standards
  • Complete station closing checklist for next shift transition
