This position offers a full-time, non-management opportunity based in Hollywood, California, with a competitive pay rate of $29.80 per hour. The role falls under the Food and Beverage & Culinary category and involves hands-on work in food preparation and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will take an active part in preparing special meals and daily food products, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or replace food products
  • regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and roasters
  • remove frozen food for thawing in refrigerators
  • ensure appropriate portion sizes, distribution, and garnishing of food
  • keep food records
  • control the quality and quantity of prepared food
  • communicate needed assistance during busy periods
  • report excess food products to use in daily specials
  • inform food and beverage service staff about rejected products and daily specials
  • ensure food product quality
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and preparation checklists
  • prepare cold dishes
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff
  • comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
  • conduct safety training and obtain certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets
