The job includes routine kitchen tasks such as measuring ingredients, tasting food to ensure quality control, reading menus, estimating and planning food production requirements, and managing supplies.

Physical demands of this role include extended periods of standing and walking, sometimes exceeding eight hours per shift, as well as the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. This position is ideal for those who thrive in an active work environment and who possess basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures. Sodexo values team members who are punctual, reliable, and able to perform repetitive motions with consistency and attention to detail.

Certain locations also offer additional perks such as free or subsidized meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support. Sodexo’s flexible and inclusive work environment is designed to support work-life balance, allowing employees to be present for life’s important moments while advancing their professional skills in a stable and respected company.

Overall, this Cook role at Sodexo is a chance to join a globally recognized company that believes in the power of everyday actions to make a positive impact.
