We are currently seeking an ambitious Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient preparation of delicious dishes that meet our high culinary standards. The ideal candidate will be someone who is quick, diligent, and eager to grow their skillset under the guidance of our experienced chefs. As a Prep Cook/Line Cook, you will be responsible for performing essential kitchen tasks including setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.

The physical demands of the role require stamina and dexterity, as you will be standing, bending, lifting, and handling kitchen tools throughout your shifts. You must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality, consistently showing a positive attitude even during busy periods.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of fine dining cook and prep experience
- knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen including ServSafe
- ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

- Proven experience as cook

Job Duties
- Follow the prep list created by the Chefs to plan duties
- willingness to learn and retain knowledge from the Chefs
- label and stock all ingredients on shelves for organization and easy access
- measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
- prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and cutting meats
- prepare simple dishes such as salads and entrees
- maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- perform other kitchen duties as assigned
