Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Two years of experience in quantity food production within a healthcare environment
  • 15-hour TDH manager's food handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage overall food production for patients, doctors and cafeteria following standardized recipes and approved menus
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines including HACCP
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving and storage of food supplies
  • Monitor thawing procedures, food production processes and equipment operation
  • Maintain accurate records related to food safety and inventory
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet dietary requirements including modified menus
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
