In this role, creativity in the kitchen is encouraged as you prepare a variety of food items based on standardized recipes and client requirements. Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers will be an essential part of your daily duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working in a food preparation environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized recipes
  • ability to work well in a team setting
  • physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • flexibility to work different shifts as needed
  • valid food safety certification or willingness to obtain it

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
