This role focuses on the culinary services within the community, making it critical for maintaining the high standards of quality and service expected by residents and their families.In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food according to standard recipes as well as accommodating special dietary needs, ensuring all meals served meet both taste and nutritional requirements. Collaborating closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Sous Chef, you will manage various aspects of food preparation and supply logistics. This includes securing necessary food items timely for food preparation, managing leftovers correctly, and maintaining accurate inventory records. These tasks are vital for operational efficiency and preventing waste, contributing directly to the overall resident satisfaction and financial health of the food service department.Additionally, this role demands a team-oriented attitude, professionalism, and a strong emphasis on customer service, as you will be interacting with both team members and residents regularly. The company seeks candidates who are self-motivated, organized, and capable of multitasking independently while upholding standards of cleanliness and safe food handling throughout the kitchen environment. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of culinary experience in hotel kitchen restaurant or similar setting
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work weekends from 11am to 7pm
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen restaurant or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
