Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cook or relevant role in the food industry
  • Breakfast experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • Previous prep or line cook experience
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Problem solving abilities, self-motivated and organized
  • Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • ServSafe certificate required
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand cooking directions

Job Duties

  • Set up station according to outlet guidelines
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Chef
  • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift
  • Clean and maintain station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills
  • Properly use and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
