Job Requirements

  • Food Handler Certification required
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene procedures
  • Ability to work full-time on-site
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good physical stamina and endurance

Job Qualifications

  • Food Handler Certification
  • Professional cooking experience preferred
  • One year of cooking experience preferred
  • One year of line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Ensure that each guest has a positive, long lasting impression of the Wingstop experience
  • Practice safe cooking procedures
  • Quickly scan and comprehend the order tickets
  • Accurately count the number of Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings and Boneless Strips needed for each order
  • Coordinate the cooking time of Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings, Boneless Strips and fries with the corresponding timer
  • Sauce, season and package all orders according to Wingstop standards
  • Accurately count the cooked Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings and Boneless Strips into the proper sauce bowls
  • Cook and prepare Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings, Boneless Strips and fries in the proper fryers and baskets
  • Filter and freshen fryer shortening daily, following safety procedures and using proper safety equipment
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean throughout the shift and at closing time
  • Immediately notify Manager on Duty of all safety, sanitation, or employee issues
  • Assist other employees as needed
  • Follow directions given by Manager or Supervisor
  • Understand and practice good hygiene and food handling
  • Properly and safely use chemical cleaning products
